THE STORY BEHIND THE PAINTING: This painting, a vibrant mix of green and yellow on a 40 cm x 50 cm canvas, crafted in 2025 with acrylics, is my heart’s echo a proud Wiradjuri woman from New South Wales, now living on Wurundjeri Country in Naarm (Melbourne). The greens are my childhood rivers, where my grandmother’s songs linger. The yellow blooms are her laughter, guiding me. The dotted lines trace my journey from home to here, each dot a heartbeat amid the ache of distance.
